2017 Prognostication Quiz: Questions 7 and 9, Kenya and Storms

Before I get to the Questions, I have an announcement to make. After 10 years of writing and running the Prognostication Quiz, I have decided to hang up my boots. I was able to manage the time commitment of Quiz plus wife, two kids, and a regular job, but now that I am at a start-up, I have had much less time for writing. You may have noticed my posts have become increasingly short and unfunny. I'll spare everyone the agony next year. If anyone else wants to try writing their own periodic game/quiz/contest, I would eagerly join and also let the rest of the Quiz contestants know an alternate exists to help ease their Prognostication Quiz withdrawal. 7. 2017 Prognostication Quiz: Questions 8 and 12, Nobels and SCOTUS

8. Nobels There are six Nobel Prizes: Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature, Peace, and Economic Sciences. They can each be awarded to as many as three people, so it is pretty special when a Nobel Prize is given to a single individual (with the exception of the Literature Prize, which is usually awarded to a single individual). How often will that happen this year? (The total number of times each has happened this millennium is indicated.) How many Nobel prizes will be awarded to a single individual? a. One (4) b.
